Der Rohr-zu-Rohr-Innengewindeadapter aus Edelstahl 316L ist ein Übergangsstück zum Verbinden von Rohrleitungssystemen. Seine Hauptstruktur dient zur Verbindung von zwei Rohr- oder Geräteanschlüssen. Das Hauptmerkmal dieses Produkts liegt in seiner Verbundverbindungsmethode: Ein Ende (oder beide Enden) ist mit einer Stumpfschweißfase für eine dauerhafte Verschweißung mit dem Rohr versehen; während die Innenseite mit Standard-Innengewinden zum Anschluss von Ventilen, Instrumenten, Armaturen oder anderen Komponenten mit Außengewinde versehen ist. Das Design des internen Strömungskanals legt Wert auf einen reibungslosen Übergang. Die Innenwand ist fein poliert, wobei die Oberflächenrauheit typischerweise auf Ra ≤ 0,8 μm oder sogar weniger kontrolliert wird (Hygienequalität kann Ra ≤ 0,5 μm erreichen). Dies verringert nicht nur den Flüssigkeitswiderstandskoeffizienten, sondern, was noch wichtiger ist, verhindert Medienansammlungen und -ablagerungen auf rauen Oberflächen.
